design system

A core underpinning of the design of the user experience was an early design system created using Sketch, somewhat of a pioneering idea at the time.

This greatly increased the velocity of the product design efforts from the wider team as the project went on, and helped the SACO team maintain design fidelity as they moved forward.

brand & visual language

The visual language we developed was an evolution of the existing SACO brand identity, that we refined and extended to portray a more business-friendly vibe (their main customer base), whilst feeling contemporary, tech-focused, and well-engineered.

user experience

Great efforts were taken to ensure the booking flow was as smooth as possible, regardless of the touchpoint.

To this end we extensively tested iterations of the site to zoom in on a version that was optimised both in terms of time to booking and in terms of exposure of the added value supplied via the supporting location info.
